Script: Modify the Android emulator hosts file
If you have a need to access domains on your local machine from the Android emulator, you should find this script helpful. You will need to replace my hostname (troy.local) with your own.
Put this script in the root Android developer folder (the same folder as platform-tools).
#!/usr/bin/env bash

iTunes short URLs
I’m not sure if this is something I should have already known, but If you’re like me and had no idea, you’ll probably find it pretty helpful.
Apple provides a short URL to each app in the App Store using the syntax:
http://www.itunes.com/apps/<APP_ID>
Example:
http://www.itunes.com/apps/footylite
